Microbiology Development Scientist 1

·    General Functions, Specific Responsibilities, and Authority:

 

• ·       Routine laboratory maintenance, propagating bacterial cultures, preparation of general laboratory duties such as preparing media and reagents, labeling plates and tube, and re-stocking supplies.




• ·       Works within established SOPs and/or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.




• ·       Maintains adequate inventory control of media and reagents as required for laboratory operations.




• ·       Assists in the qualification and validation of equipment and lab instruments including calibration.




• ·       Responsible for maintaining laboratory notebooks and ensuring all documentation is performed under GDP guidelines.




• ·       Performs other duties as assigned by management.
