Job Overview
We are hiring Meter Readers in your area. No experience required. This is a part‑time role with flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Collect data from gas, electricity and water meters for both commercial and residential properties.
- Enter meter reads accurately on a handheld device at each location.
- Carry out visual inspections of associated metering equipment.
- Complete Charge Point Surveys and other routine checks.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
- Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
- Manual UK Driving Licence (minimum 1 year, maximum 6 points, no DR offences; licence not required in some London areas).
- Physically fit – able to bend, lift, kneel, climb stairs, crouch, and walk 4–5 miles per day.
- Happy to work in all weather conditions.
