Job Description
Join OSM Thome as Messman on board our bulk carrier fleet trading worldwide. Be part of an experienced crew and help keep the vessel clean, orderly and well-served every day.
- **Key responsibilities**:
- Assist the cook in galley and pantry work
- Serve meals and beverages to officers and crew
- Clean mess rooms, galley and food storage areas
- Wash dishes, utensils and galley equipment
- Handle garbage segregation and disposal as per vessel procedures
- Support general housekeeping in accommodation areas as needed
- **Requirements**:
- Previous experience as Messman or similar position at sea preferred
- Valid seafarer documents and medical fitness
- Basic safety training as per STCW
- Good hygiene and housekeeping standards
- Ability to work in a multicultural crew and follow instructions
- Good English communication skills
