Job Description
Responsibilities Include:
- Estimate jobs for mechanical, plumbing and HVAC.
- Boiler upgrades/replacements, Gas conversions, Water booster/backflow preventers
- AC systems (mini-splits, multi-splits, DOAS) a plus but not required
- Controls
- Reviews all bidding documents (drawings, specifications etc.) to establish a complete understanding of requested scope of work.
- Visit work sites and become familiar with working conditions for estimating purposes.
- Ensure safe working conditions and quality control.
REQUIREMENTS :
- 5+ years experience as an estimator
- Experience in commercial boilers
- Thorough understanding of boiler systems (both steam and hydronic) and the ability to generate scope of work.
- Ability to review bid documents and come up with VE opportunities
