We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Support Assistants (MSAs) to support scheduling and administrative operations across VISN 20 facilities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient patient coordination, exceptional customer service, and seamless communication within interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
Provide front-desk and administrative support for clinics and healthcare units
Schedule, coordinate, and manage patient appointments across multiple departments
Perform consult intake and conduct outreach to patients and providers
Maintain accurate patient records in CPRS/EHR systems
Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information
Ensure compliance with VA patient identification protocols (two identifiers required)
Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally, addressing patient inquir...
