Our client, a GP surgery based in St Helens are currently hiring for a Temporary Medical Receptionist to join their team.

Duties of the role will include:

  • Meeting and greeting visitors, resolving appointment queries

  • Answering inbound phone calls, logging patient data

  • Booking in appointments for patients

  • Supporting the office with administrative duties

    • Systems required:

  • Previous experience as a medical or GP receptionist (NHS or private sector) preferred

  • Confident using clinical systems such as EMIS

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive information discreetly
