Job Description
We are actively hiring a Medical Assistant at our Denver, CO site.
Shift: Monday-Friday 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Location: Onsite
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Compensation: $22.00-$27.00 hourly
Requirements
- Coordinating patient flow to minimize wait times.
- Rooms: patients, prepares and maintain sex examination and treatment area before, during and after each patient activity.
- Obtains vital signs and input them into EMR. Must be able to recognize and respond to any emergency situation appropriately. Reports abnormal vitals to providers.
- Prepares the patient and provides information as needed.
- Performs or assists physician to perform exams, test and procedures as ordered by the physician such as EKG’s or other procedures, and phlebotomy, including venipunctures, finger sticks, and injections.
