Job Description
Join Starcom as a Media Planning Intern in Kuala Lumpur to gain hands-on experience in media campaign planning and client engagement in a hybrid work setting.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Expose to software on media planning and tracking.
- Learn reporting using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, organize proposals from sales reps, and build media plans across channels.
- Assist the team in preparing budgets and estimations for proposed media and communication plans.
- Ensure approved planned media are placed and consistent.
- Identify target audiences and analyze their characteristics, behavior, and media habits.
- Communicate with media owners, newspapers, magazines, and website owners.
- Undertake research and analyze data using specialist industry resources.
- Maintain records and prepare periodic reports on assigned accounts.
