Casual/Holiday Media and Communication Workers

We are looking for a Media and Communications professional to join our client, a Sydney local council, on a short-term contract to provide immediate coverage in a fast-paced and highly visible communications function.

This is a hands-on content creation role where you will take ownership of both external social media and internal communications, ensuring consistent, engaging, and professional messaging across all channels.

What you'll be doing 

• Create, edit and publish engaging content across Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
• Shoot and edit short-form video content using mobile devices for social media use
• Design high-quality social media assets independently using Canva
• Develop and manage email campaigns and newsletters via MailChimp (or similar platforms)
• Take ownership of internal communications, including weekly GM newsletters
