Overview Applied Physical Sciences Corp (APS) seeks a highly skilled mechanical technician-fabricator to support prototype and product fabrication. Recent successful training graduate (associate's degree or technical school) considered; 5+ years preferred. Successful candidates will have excellent mechanical skills including measuring, cutting, drilling, tapping, welding as well as operating hand tools, band saws, grinders, and other similar machinery. This is a full‐time position at our Pawcatuck, CT facility requiring daily collaboration with our Prototyping & Fabrication Department management team, engineering staff and fellow technicians. The successful candidate will be detailed and process oriented, adaptable, personable, and have good communication skills while being capable of working independently or in a team atmosphere.
