Overview
We are looking for a Mechanical Technician to join a Technical Engineering team supporting a wide range of cutting-edge projects within the fusion sector.
We're looking for well-rounded, hands-on technicians who enjoy variety and problem-solving rather than repetitive production work. This is a practical role where no two days are the same, working across multiple systems and engineering projects to support the build, installation, maintenance, and upgrade of advanced experimental equipment.
You'll work closely with engineers, scientists, and fellow technicians in a collaborative technical environment developing next-generation fusion technologies.

Carry out mechanical assembly, installation, and integration of engineering systems.
Support maintenance, upgrades, inspections, and fault-finding across a range of equipment.
