Provides knowledge and expertise in fixed equipment including rotating equipment, engines, pumps, piping, valves and vessels, including inspection, troubleshooting and repair.
Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Mechanical Systems Technician located in Port Arthur Lubricants Plant August 6th, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
**Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to** :
+ Compliant with all Chevron Standards, OSHA regulations, LO/TO, PPE, CSE, Safe Work Permitting Process, Working at Heights, Lifting and Rigging, Electrical Safety, JLA’s, Work Instructions and all other applicable governing laws and standards.
+ Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance activities and assessments on plant processes and equipment.
+ Safe Execution of routine field and shop repairs on rotating equipment.
+ Utilize Laser alignment equipment
