**Purpose and Scope:**
Performs a variety of Protective Systems engineering assignments to support project development, design changes, operations, installation, and maintenance of Protective Systems. These systems are located at the Kennedy Space Center – at locations throughout the site, including at/around space flight hardware processing facilities, launch pad support buildings and facilities, engineering and administrative support buildings and other types of industrial and related support facilities.

+ Possess strong working knowledge of fire alarm, and fire suppression systems, operation, and maintenance as well as NFPA code requirements.
