- Ensure all plant & equipment on site are well maintained as per the individual maintenance schedules.
- Plan, supervise and coordinate mechanical work activities to ensure smooth execution.
- Manage and lead a team of mechanical fitters, technicians, and subcontractors to meet project objectives.
- Attend to repairs or breakdowns promptly and resolve in a safe manner, to ensure downtime and delays to the project are minimized.
- Oversee the installation, alignment, and maintenance of mechanical equipment, including pumps, valves, compressors and piping systems.
- Review and verify technical drawings, specifications and blueprints to ensure accuracy during execution.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications and client requirements.
