Responsibilities Responsibilities Brasfield & Gorrie has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Pipe Preconstruction Manager to assist with mechanical pipe self-perform pursuits across multiple divisions within our Heavy Civil market sectors. Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned): Estimate construction costs for below grade and/or above grade mechanical pipe scopes. Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for material and equipment for process piping systems and associated process equipment. Develop labor, material, equipment and subcontractor costs using historical data, industry trend and estimating software. Review plans, specifications, proposals and P&IDs to fully understand project scope, requirements and conditions.
