Job Description
Mechanical Fitter
Roster: 5 days/week, Afternoon Shift (12:45pm – 9:15pm) + OT and weekends as required
Location: Coolaroo, Melbourne
Responsibilities:
Join a high-performing maintenance team where your skills will directly support plant reliability and performance. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining and improving fixed and rotating equipment in a safety-first environment.
- Perform maintenance, repair, and improvement of plant equipment
- Manage both planned maintenance activities and breakdown repairs
- Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet operational targets
- Follow direction from the Maintenance Supervisor and contribute to continuous improvement
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety, housekeeping, and best practice standards
