Mechanical Engineer - Sewerage Treatment Plant

Overview

Stantec is looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer for a DM Sewerage Treatment plant in Dubai. This role supports rehabilitation of an existing sewage system to improve efficiency and extend the plant capacity to receive and treat up to approximately 435,000 m3/day. The selected candidate will have extensive experience with local sewage treatment facilities and proven ability to manage and supervise construction works and optimize operations within the existing STP in accordance with project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise rehabilitation/repair of civil works and contribute to the extension of the plant to around 175,000 m3/day and rehabilitation of the existing 260,000 m3/day STP.
• Provide mechanical engineering leadership for the project, including oversight of mechanical works related to pumping stations and force main infrastructure.
