Mechanical Engineer (Mandarin Chinese Preffered)

Full-time Mechanical Engineering and Toolmaking

Purpose

This role is critical for the efficient operation of CNC machines, potting machines, and other automated production lines that have been imported directly from Chinese manufacturers.

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / BTech / BEng in Mechanical Engineering.
• Min 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in furniture, cabinetry, woodworking, or panel-processing industries.
• Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam, or similar)
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and technical reading/writing) to enable direct communication with Chinese OEM suppliers and effective interpretation of technical documentation advantageous
• Ability to read, interpret, and adapt Chinese technical documentation (manuals, electrical diagrams, PLC programs, etc).
• Ability to supervise and train 5 machine operators.
