Job Description
**Description:** We are seeking a Test Engineer to plan, prepare, and execute mechanical, functional, and environmental testing of development and flight aerospace mechanisms and other mechanical products at the Materials Technology & Mechanisms Test Lab at Lockheed Martin Space.
In this position, you will coordinate and interface directly with program engineering, production colleagues, technicians, quality, planners, and others to support various stages of the product life cycle for aerospace mechanisms and other mechanical components and subsystems. A successful candidate is a self-starter with strong knowledge in mechanical engineering as it applies to unique test set-ups that involve load / deflection, functional / performance, thermal, and / or thermal-vacuum environments.
