Job Description
Join the Bruce Power team as a Mechanical Engineer focusing on Major Component Replacement (MCR) programs. You'll design and deploy tools while collaborating with construction teams for CANDU reactor refurbishments.
This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering. You will play a vital part in tooling design, site evaluations, and documentation while ensuring compliance with CANDU nuclear standards. Interacting with vendors and support teams is also essential for successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and modify tooling for reactor assembly
• Conduct on-site evaluations and walk-downs regularly
• Prepare technical documentation and compliance reports
• Review vendor drawings and support procurement activities
• Evaluate supplier scopes of work consistently
