Responsibilities
+ Own the design and engineering lifecycle of complex mechanical assemblies, systems, and specialized tooling.
+ Perform detailed engineering analyses using foundational hand calculations and advanced computational modeling (FEA/CFD).
+ Generate comprehensive engineering documentation, including 3D CAD models and detailed 2D drawings per ASME Y14.5 standards.
+ Lead cross-functional design reviews, incorporating feedback from various teams.
+ Drive the selection and qualification of COTS components, materials, and fabrication methods to optimize designs.
