Description
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to help with the sustainment of the machines. You will be in a hands-on development and technical design role impacting the creation and support of well-designed, maintainable mechanical systems. RESPONSIBILITIES • Create design solutions with excellent engineering and documentation processes. • Design and create prototypes using in-house and external fabrication. • Perform engineering calculations to support design work. • Contribute to the development of systems through to handoff for product commercialization. • Drive engineering excellence and the adherence to the scientific method. • Compile and analyze operational, test, and research data to establish technical specifications for designing or modifying products, processes, and materials. • Must be willing to perform a wide range of tasks on a daily basis (e.g. Transition from office work to field work at a moment’s notice).
