Job Description
Location: Head Office, Etobicoke
Reports To: Shop Manager
Pay Scale: $42.00 - $53.00 per hour depending on experience
This position is for 2 existing vacancies.
Job Duties
- Repair and adjust hydraulic pumps, safety valves, and other necessary mechanical components
- Inspect, repair and adjust gasoline and diesel-powered units
- Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances
- Communicate any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the supervisor to facilitate prompt correction or reporting
- Diagnose defects in heavy duty equipment
- Perform mechanical repairs on equipment in the shop and on road calls when required
- Operate automotive servicing equipment
