Summary About the Position: Must be able to satisfy the requirements of the 26JUL12 DODI 1400.25 V1230, DoD Civilian Personnel Management System: Employment in Foreign Areas and Employee Return Rights. This position is located in Ramstein, Germany. Ramstein has developed into the largest US military community outside the United States. Responsibilities Cut, trim and bone beef, pork (primals/subprimals, lamb and veal into retail cuts. Conduct fat tests. May operate meat-grinding system to prepare different types of ground beef and/or sausage. Complete store orders using a handheld computer Breaks down cases, removes cardboard and garbage from the Meat Plant. Utilize hand and electric powered equipment to slice, dice, grind and tenderize a variety of meats.
