Job Description

What you’ll do:

  • You will organize, coordinate, and direct the operations of the meat, seafood and deli departments.
  • You will review sales, margins, expenses, and develop action plans to correct deficiencies.
  • Develop work schedules for team members to ensure all work is completed and wage cost targets are maintained and enter the data into our portal. 
  • Ensure a safe working environment and that safety policies are followed and core safety deliverables are met
  • Assist the Food Manager in recruitment and training of new employees, and provide performance management in a unionized environment through coaching, appraisals, progressive discipline, and the rewarding of high quality contributions. Develop employees KPI’s for future promotion and career development opportunities.
