Job Description:Activities:- Production support & process development.
- Steel and aluminum welding experience- Welder Qualification process management.
- Mentorship of weld technicians.
- Startup operations for new product lines.
- Assuring facility complies with AWP Welding Standards- Developing and maintaining manufacturing methods, standards, and practices.
- Defining and implementing weld cell layouts.
- Periodic audits of weld and fabrication processes, implementing corrective actions where gaps are identified.
- Support plant wide projects requiring engineering support- Support the division welding council, identifying and promoting new and emerging technologies that will result in lower operating costs and improved quality.
- Equipment maintenance, repair and replacements strategy and process.Requirements:- B.S. Degree in Engineering.Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Technology.Other degrees will be considered with appropriate experience...
