MDS Coordinator-Nursing Home


Located near Irvington, NY

A beautiful privately owned nursing home located near Irvington, NY is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable MDS Coordinator.

Responsibilities of the MDS Coordinator:


Responsible for coordination of MDS and Rugs so that the entire MDS process is completed
  • Communicates within and outside the nursing department respective responsibilities for completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI)
  • Articulates system problems and concerns to the Director of Nursing or designee
  • Maximizes reimbursement by timely and accurate PRI submissions utilizing the help of other PRI Assessors



    • Qualifications:
  • Must have current New York RN license
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Long Term Care
  • Thorough knowledge of MDS and RUGS requirements as well as Federal and New York State requirements
