Greets, instructs, directs and schedules patients and family members. Work with all patients to schedule appointments that best meet their needs. Assist patients with the selection of a primary care clinician stressing the importance of continuity with a primary care clinician. Receptionist will accurately handle prescription requests, medical chart information, schedule referrals with other physician offices and ensure that insurance referrals are made if required. Answers the telephone and directs calls to the appropriate party. The receptionist must be pleasant at all times, well-groomed and able to multi-task without showing stress to the public.
