Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Materials Technician with at least 2 years of experience in materials testing to join our team. In this role, you will conduct on‑site materials testing and analysis for various construction and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site testing of construction materials (concrete, asphalt, soil, etc.) according to UK industry standards (BS, EN, ASTM).
- Perform tests including plate testing, concrete cube making, and other relevant tests.
- Record and evaluate material performance, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain field‑testing equipment and troubleshoot equipment issues, ensuring testing procedures are not delayed.
- Collaborate with site teams to resolve material‑related issues.
