Job Description

The Materials Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of materials flow and maintaining accuracy and control of inventory. This role ensures that procurement, planning, scheduling, warehousing, and inventory management processes effectively support on‑time customer delivery. The position also drives operational improvements and leads materials‑related teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and manage materials management activities including procurement, inventory control, planning, and warehousing.
• Develop and execute production planning strategies aligned with customer demand.
• Implement best practices for inventory, forecasting, purchasing, and materials processes.
• Monitor delivery performance and communicate risks proactively.
• Analyze forecasts and historical data to support production plans.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and control systems.
