Overview

We currently have a Regular Full-time opportunity for Material Handler in the Linen Services department at Bayview Campus.

Hours of Work

Weekdays & Alternating Weekends: Days; 8 hrs; As per schedule, On-Call & Statutory Holidays Required.

Summary of Duties

• Unload trailer of clean linen and deliver to designated locations
• Collect soiled linen from designated areas and load inside trailer
• Report any missed deliveries from linen supplier
• Replenish linen cart with any surplus linen from units
• Complete labelling of items as required
• Report missed pickup schedules of waste by Waste Hauler
• Collect and transport hazardous and medical waste from Waste Chute areas and other designated areas to Waste Processing room
• Report any equipment that is non-functional
• Provide support to the Environmental Support Services team as required
