The Material Planner plays a central role in coordinating material requirements and production schedules across engineering, supply chain, and operations. This position is responsible for forecasting demand, building and executing two-week material plans, and ensuring timely delivery of parts and assemblies to the site. It involves managing ERP data including BOMs and master data, releasing purchase and work orders, and adjusting plans for engineering changes. The planner creates visibility into material status through reporting tools, promotes cross-functional collaboration, and ensures compliance with safety protocols, all while adapting strategies to meet evolving production needs.
