Overview
Responsible for tracking and closing our direct ship orders, this requires contacting and working with suppliers, accessing supplier shipping information and populating the Oracle system with the respective information required.
What You'll DoResponsible for following up with external suppliers on order acknowledgements, estimated ship dates and shipping cost to close Direct Ship purchase orders. Analyze and process direct ship purchase orders that are put on hold Ensure suppliers are following our freight instructions Support problem solving with suppliers having delivery issues Communicate obsolete parts to MDM team Work closely with Order Management, Material Planners, ...
