The primary purpose of this position is to perform work involved in the identification, examination, classification, acceptance, and disposition of complex categories of materials and equipment. Responsibilities - Receives, examines, verifies, and identifies complex categories of materials and equipment, such as those which are toxic, radioactive, perishable, classified, high-valued equipment, precious/strategic metals, and complex electronic or mechanical equipment, assemblies, and components. Performs complex searches of shipping and storage records, equipment specifications, and manufacturing manuals as required for item/equipment identification. - Maintains an aggressive surveillance inspection program on stored/on-hand items.
