Marine Service Engineer (Hydraulics System/PLC System)

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and testing of pumping systems onboard vessels.
• Carry out troubleshooting and repairs on systems, both electrical and mechanical.
• Assist with repairs & overhauls of various types of equipment in our workshop.
• Participate in vessel dockings and commissioning work at shipyard.
• Prepare professional reports from attended jobs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Nitec in Mechanical/electrical/marine engineering or similar.
• Knowledge in PLC based control systems and/or Hydraulic systems.
• Automation or instrumentation experience an advantage.
• Willing to travel overseas and work flexible hours on occasions.
• Can work both independently and as a team.
