Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day technical, operational, and commercial performance of assigned LPG/Ethylene/Ethane carriers.
- Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations, including ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL, and ISPS, while preparing vessels for PSC, Flag State, and SIRE/vetting inspections.
- Provide operational support to Masters, with a strong focus on cargo operations, including cargo containment systems, cooling plants, and loading/discharging operations for LPG and ethylene cargoes.
- Lead incident investigations, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Work closely with the Crewing Department to support crew development, competency management, and effective vessel manning.
- Drive continuous improvement in vessel safety, reliability, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
