Our client specializes in marine construction throughout the West Coast and seeks an experienced estimator with a background in heavy civil or fabrication. You will prepare detailed cost estimates, conduct material take-offs, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure project profitability and efficiency. Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare cost estimates for projects up to $5M
• Review drawings to establish project scope
• Develop labour and material cost estimates
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors
• Assist in project handover and budgeting
Requirements:
• 2+ years of estimating experience in marine construction
