Job Description
Reporting to the Captains and Ferry Manager, and working closely with the Integrated Technical Services Team, the Marine Engineer is a vital part of the Toronto Port Authority ferry crew. Supporting year‑round essential ferry services to Toronto’s Billy Bishop City Airport, the Marine Engineer is tasked with providing the highest maintenance standard to the Port Authorities’ two 30 m passenger RORO ferries as well as a small fleet of work boats operating in Toronto Harbour.

Responsibilities
General activities and functions include, but are not limited to:
- Serving as the lead engineer responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of the ferries David Hornell and the electrically powered Marylin Bell serving Toronto’s Billy Bishop Airport.
