Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day manufacturing operation activities in the assigned production area or floor.
- Lead and develop a team of shift supervisors and operators (200‑300 personnel across two shifts and three teams).
- Forecast and secure resources to prevent supply‑chain disruptions, including WIP inventory, equipment and small parts.
- Monitor production workflows and resolve bottlenecks.
- Ensure equipment uptime, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance with the maintenance team.
- Allocate shop‑floor resources to optimize coverage and meet key performance indicators.
- Enforce shop‑floor discipline, including attendance, break times and approval of annual leave and overtime.
- Ensure operators are certified and trained on equipment, safety, and quality principles.
