1. Vendor Management - Development and commercial know-how of core proprietary components such as Fuel System, After treatment system, Electricals etc.- Technically sound in manufacturing processes of mentioned commodities. Working level knowledge of Forging/Gears will be an added advantage.- New projects Tooling/Capex estimation- Capacity evaluation of suppliers- Floating RFQ, technical synthesis closures, DVP closures with suppliers/R&D- Should have good knowledge of vendor database
2. Quality Improvement - Capable enough to coordinate with the supplier and QA team for quality improvement- Monitor Supplier performance to access ability to meet quality and delivery requirements- Co-ordination with NPD quality team for sample//APQP/PPAP closures- Able to do Buyer assessment for new suppliers
