PURPOSEOF THE JOB:
§Effective and efficient management of Logistics and supply chain operations resulting in enhanced service levels and optimum spend. Building and managing a robust and agile transportation network Pan India.
KEY FOCUS AREAS:
·Logistics Spend Management in the area of transport management
·Contracting and Transport commercial Management all legs of primary transportation
·Ensuring timely availability of trucks for dispatch
·Transit Schedule adherence
·Statutory compliance in Transportation
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Transport Management
§Plan, Organize and manage daily operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods.
§Finalizing the Transportation Plan Category wise. Ensure that transportation of stocks happen, involving least possible cost but ensuring safety of the stocks.
