Position Description

Mercer Celgar is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Engineering team as the Manager of Engineering. In this role, you will lead all mill engineering activities, ensuring regulatory compliance and CapEx project management. This role serves as the mill’s Primary Responsible Registrant with EGBC, overseeing mechanical, electrical, and project engineering. Responsibilities include budget planning, external resource management, and providing engineering support for operational improvements, requiring a proactive leader for both routine and long‑term initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee the mill’s mechanical, electrical and project engineering activities.
• Act as the mill’s Primary Responsible Registrant with Engineers & Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC).
