Manager Costing

Full-time Finance

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as design, sourcing and production to gather relevant data and input for accurate cost estimation
• Identify cost drivers and propose cost-saving measures without compromising product quality
• Collaborate with the sourcing team to identify potential cost-effective sourcing options and evaluate supplier proposals
• Develop and implement a comprehensive costing strategy for all products. Establish cost targets, cost breakdown structures and cost control measures
• Implement and manage an effective costing system to accurately track and monitor costs throughout the product lifecycle
• Collaborate with design and sourcing teams to explore alternative materials or process improvements that reduce costs without compromising on product integrity
• Monitor and analyze cost variances between actual costs and estimated costs. Investigate and explain deviations
