Position Summary
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Major Project Estimator is a key professional in financial planning and budget development for large mining projects, both nationally and internationally. Working in multidisciplinary teams, the incumbent ensures the preparation of reliable and detailed cost estimates for various project phases, including conceptual studies, feasibility studies, engineering, construction and start‑up operations. This role requires an excellent understanding of mining operations, technical constraints, logistical issues, as well as strong economic analysis skills.
