About the Role: Bethany is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Maintenance Worker I to join our team. Under the leadership of the Maintenance Supervisor and as part of a team of rotating operators, you will be responsible for ensuring the building and grounds are secured for the safety of residents, families and staff by adhering to health and safety practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain hardware, fixtures, furnishings, carpet and flooring as required.
• Prepare and paint rooms efficiently; painting experience required.
• Ensure greenspaces are well maintained, working with contractors when required.
• Respond to emergency situations such as fire, power outage, or water damage in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Respond to routine inquiries and repair requests in resident rooms and common areas (e.g., changing light bulbs).
