Job Description
Become a Maintenance Technician at Kids & Company, servicing childcare centres across British Columbia. This hands-on role focuses on repairs and maintenance, ensuring safe and operational spaces for children.
You will perform a variety of maintenance tasks, handle urgent repairs, and inspect facilities regularly to prevent issues. Your independent troubleshooting skills will ensure that all sites remain functional and compliant.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs in childcare centres
• Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues effectively
• Carry out plumbing and carpentry repairs as needed
• Assemble and install furniture and equipment
• Communicate with Centre Directors about maintenance status
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of facility maintenance experience
• Proficient in plumbing, carpentry, and basic electrical tasks
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Valid BC Driver's License is a must
