**Job Description**
The Maintenance Technician maintains packing and seaming equipment in reliable operating condition to support production goals. This role sets up, tests, and adjusts machines before each shift, performs timely repairs and preventive maintenance, and ensures all required documentation is accurate and complete. The technician works closely with production teams to minimize downtime, uphold food safety and quality standards, and strictly follow all safety procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and test all assigned packing equipment so it is ready for operation before each production shift.
+ Complete all pre-startup inspections and paperwork for packers and seamers and file documentation as scheduled.
+ Conduct periodic inspections of assigned packers, belts, and conveyors throughout the shift to ensure proper operation.
