Maintenance Technician

Full-time Other Installation, Maintenance, and Repair Occupations

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for operation, installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and overall proper function of all types of mechanical equipment, including but not limited to the following pumps, steam turbines, compressors, gear boxes, cooling fans, couplings, seals, and all rotating equipment.

JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Maintain and conduct preventive maintenance on rotating and process equipment

·Pull and install equipment for repair

·Perform alignment on equipment

·Monitor vibration analysis

·Identify proper oils used in facility equipment

·Identify proper gasket materials

·Manage maintenance records

·Drive a tractor

·Obtain certification for operating forklifts, small lifts, crane (Galena Park Marine Terminal (GPMT) is a DOT and USCG regulated facility

·Other duties as assigned
