Job Description

Reporting to the Rail Maintenance Planning Manager, the Maintenance Planner plays a critical role in ensuring the effective planning, scheduling and coordination of maintenance activities across our fleet and assets. You will work closely with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to maximise asset availability while maintaining strict compliance with rail safety standards.

We will trust you with the below responsibilities: 

• Owning and optimising rotable demand planning, maintaining visibility of component status and readiness, and developing 6–12 month forecasts.
• Managing end‑to‑end overhaul planning, balancing demand with vendor capacity, and identifying bottlenecks and risks.
• Providing relief support to Maintenance Planning and Scheduling teams, ensuring short‑term execution during peak periods or periods with resource gaps.
