Job Description
Contract opportunity exists for Maintenance Engineer at mine site in Southern Africa. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring accurate verification of installed assets, equipment, and spares on site. The role requires reviewing installation quality and completeness against design documents, updating technical records, and developing operational and quality procedures. This position is critical to ensuring that engineering, maintenance, and operations teams have accurate data and systems in place to support safe and reliable plant operation.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Confirm and update the asset register with correct and complete data.
- Verify equipment nameplates, specifications, and technical details against design and supplier documentation.
- Review and update the spares list to ensure alignment with installed equipment.
